Classic British pub with Bermudian hospitality. Located in the Dockyard near the Craft Market, opposite the Maritime Museum. Menu items include Commander's fish chowder, the Onion's soup, Sir John Fisher (dolphin), Cornish Pastie, Five Fathom (butterfly pasta), burgers, and the BLT sandwich. My friends and I visited many restaurants on the island but this was by far the worst service we ever received. The waitress was very reluctant to give us a table for twelve despite the restaurant being very empty. After a long wait (in an empty restaurant), she seated us at separate tables and had a very nasty attitude when asked if we could move the tables together. She then informed us that it was FIVE minutes until dinnertime therefore we would not be able to order from the dinner menu. Due to the long wait for the table and the slow service we decided to order out so we would not miss our Ferry. We were then told to go to the bar to order out where we encountered another
rude waitress who was angry that twelve people were ordering. We left the restaurant without ordering because their service was horrible and very unprofessional. I wouldn’t suggest anyone spending their money on this type of establishment. - mosaic, 05/27/2008
