I was in Beantown Pub today to watch Indiana University play in the Big Ten basketball tournament. After having lunch, my friend and I stuck around to watch the finish of the game, and relocated to the bar at the request of the waitress. Upon being accosted by the bartender, we were asked to leave, being told we 'couldn't squat.' After being a patron of the bar for quite some time, and having already payed for lunch, I found this treatment shocking, and I regret that I'll have to find somewhere else to watch IU's game tomorrow. - Boston Law Student, 03/11/2004
I was in Boston on business on 4/7/03 and 4/8/03 and visited the pub around 11:30pm 4/7/03. At midnight I turned 40 on April 8th Shawn was our bartender i stayed til close and had a great time it was very memorable I was one of two Yankee fans in the bar.
