Fabulous pub!! What a friendly place this is. A few of my friends and I went here after a Sox game and were lucky enough to steal a few seats at the bar - the place was PACKED! I tried a few random English bitter beers from the guy tending bar. He was jovial and open to letting us try a sample of a few unknown british beers. Good times all around!! We will try to sit at their outdoor tables next time. - marjie, 06/13/2006
While visiting Cornwall's in Boston, I had the worst experience with an eating establishemt that I can remember. Following dissatisfaction with his beer, the waitress told my son that she did not care if he returned or not. And the owner shared the same sentiment. We found the owner to be rude and accused my son of lying. I was there. He was not lying. For a pub with food and beer that was fine and equal to many places already in Boston, why would an owner look to loose a new customer? This
was a new place he had wanted to try. Now, both he and I (and anyone I talk to) will never return. Boston may have the 'reputation' of being 'rude', but, I have gotten a lot of good service while visiting and sometimes better than what I receive in Vermont.
