The Penalty Box, while not as high profile as some of the other bars near the Garden, is absolutely worth a stop-in if you could give a shit about hooking up and instead are fully focused on swilling cheap beers before whatever event you're going to. I've been in there before sold out concerts and playoff hockey and basketball games, and the most people I've seen in there has been @ 20. I don't think they take credit cards, and the toilets are pretty disgusting, but who cares? Strong drinks and cheap beers before a Garden event with no wait and good people working there have my wife and I and our friends always going there. Best kept secret in town. Just don't go there expecting to meet the love of your life (unless that is fast, cheap drinks) - Chris, 10/25/2007
