A number of friends recommended me to this chinese restaurant in Allston, and now I have been a regular visitor in the last three years. This is a modest place for a restaurant; in fact, it is more known for its to-go/order delivery food. But the food is superb, much better than any other Chinese restaurants I've ever been. It's Chinese food, but if you are familiar with Southeast Asian cuisine, you would love the special taste you could get from the kitchen as well. Try the delicious crispy duck, fried squids/calamari, and tofu and vegetable stir-fry. Do'nt forget to ask the scallion-ginger sauce. The dish is often huge, at least seem bigger than in any other places. If you're in a group, thus you could spend less. Students will love 'em. One little minor thing is that they will serve you with foam or plastic dishes, so please be warned if the food is terribly hot on your table. I do not know why they survive this service tradition. The owner is a very friendly guy
