Unbelievable to hear that such a great establishment is yet ANOTHER write-off! Seems like all of the places that make Boston and the Cape & Islands "HOME" are vanishing right before my eyes....I hadn't been to the Dixie Kitchen for quite some time..and upon my return from Orlando, one of the things on my "List of things to do and get done" was to FEAST on their garlic bread....what a mouthwatering experience...such a shame..If the proprietors of the Dixie happen to read this...you should market the garlic bread...if not, at the very least, post the recipe!! What a shame to hear that Dixie Kitchen closed. I lived behind Symphony Hall in Boston just a few blocks away from this restaurant from 1989-1993 and must have eaten there at leats 30 times. The blackened cajun wings and jalepeno cornbread were simply amazing and even though I'm 3000 miles away now in San Francisco, my mouth still waters when i think of them.
