The trivia night they used to have on Monday nights with John,, was the best in the city. They moved it to Wednesday and someone else does it and to be nice, I'd have to say it is not very good compared to before. I know A LOT of people who feel the same way. Perfect example of fixing something that was not broke. My team and I will not be back unless John returns. - Blair, 10/29/2006

my favorite place to go, I have been going here all my time in College. They just redid the place to and it looks amazing. New owners took it over and they are doing a sweet job. They started trivia night which is a blast and the 10 cent wing night is kick a$$! - bear belly, 09/22/2006
The Red Hat has been completely done over...and I LOVE it! Fortunately, 'Chris' the bartender is still there - best bartender in Boston of you ask me, and I've known a few. The food is great, totally different experiences whether you're upstairs or downstairs (Chris is always downstairs so that's where I go). Great drinks...great food...great prices. this place has a sacred place in my heart. this is were I spent my twenties and if i had to live my life over again I wouldnt have changed a thing. This bar and the people I have met there will always stay with me as I often think back and wonder what ever become of.....
