This renowned seafood restaurant has recently reopened after undergoing a major renovation. The newly designed eatery features Italian Terrazzo tile, mahogany paneling from floor to ceiling, Hollywood banquettes, and a lovely French window view of Copley Square. Three new private dining rooms, the most spectacular renovation, can accommodate up to 140 persons. The menu features current, native seafood cuisine, prepared with global influences under the direction of Executive Chef Christoph Leu and Chef Eric Heinrich. Open for lunch 11:30 am - 2:30pm Mon - Sat; dinner served 5pm - 10pm Sun - Thurs, 5pm - 11pm Fri - Sat; bar open 11:30am - 11pm Mon - Sat, 5pm - 10:30pm Sun. Recently I stopped into Turner Fisheries at the recommendation of a friend for dinner with a client. We entered in through the Westin Hotel and walked down a glourious set of stairs into a simply elegant room. The service was excellent from the hostess to the busperson. Due to popular demand, Turner Fisheries, Boston's premier seafood restaurant, will reintroduce its celebrated Sunday Brunch on February 26, 2006. With a variety of options, even the most frequent diner can enjoy the innovative culinary creations of acclaimed chef Christoph Leu every Sunday without ordering the same brunch items. Leu, who uses the finest ingredients and freshest local seafood possible, has successfully created a new brunch menu that balances seafood with breakfast and lunch dishes. Brunch at Turner Fisheries is served every Sunday (starting February 26th) from 11:00am to 3:00pm.
