Open Mon - Thurs 11:30 am - 1:30 am, Fri 11:30 am - 2 am, Sat 12 pm - 2 am; call for Sunday hours. Despite questionable hiring practices of musicians, Andy's manages to draw top-name local jazz talent into its establishment, as well as a knowledgeable and sometimes famous clientele. The spacious, dark room and the always-slightly-out-of-tune piano underscore the authentic jazz sounds that emanate from its stage. i wanted to see some jazz while in chicago. with a packed schedule i left if too late to catch a night show. all the guidebooks said andy's offered a lunch set and when we showed up, a few hours before our flight home, we found out that it's only on fridays! guess that's what you get for relying on guidebooks and online/magazine reviews...you don't get ALL the details. - chicago visitor, 05/21/2007
