I can't believe they tore down this small gem of a bar and built another Border's in it's place. The drinks weren't cheap, but they were worth the price for the cool bartenders (we miss you, Kyle & Chris!) and the groovy decor--an iridescent mosaic bar and undulating translucent plastic walls backlit with an ever changing rainbow of colors. Designer Laura Gardner said 'Basically, I took a Lava Light and turned it inside out.' Somebody, please hire this woman to do another bar. - Paul Archer, 08/29/2003
