An authentic Irish Pub, the interior was designed and built in Ireland, then shipped to America in several different pieces. The main bar and seating are on the ground floor, a small mezzanine area leads up to the second floor. Ornate woodwork, tools, and Irish art adorn the walls and ceiling. The second floor is available for private parties. Fado menu includes Boxties, Shepherd's pie and Irish stew. Love this Pub! I lived in London (ok its an Irish Pub)and recently went back to visit and Fado comes as close to an actual authentic pub as you can get. Cozy, fun, original. We had a company get-together 2 yrs. ago and we all had a wonderful time. - Melissa of Chicago, 06/13/2007

I just recently moved to Chicago from the north suburbs. I've made my way around to many bars, but none like Fado. Your staff is tremendous and so is your Irish Stew.
