Fast becoming a popular after-work hangout, this South Loop spot features a large front bar area that gives way to a back dining room with booths and dark wood accents. Drinks include Boddington's, Smithwick's, wines, whiskeys, and specialty drinks. Food items include shepherd's pie and notable burgers. Thursday nights at 8 pm stop by for free pub trivia, where the winning team gets a free bar tab for the evening. We stopped by Friday at 5pm .. no sign of Happy Hour? The place was almost empty .. we



did see a few familys head to the back dining room. Grace's has a decent selection of tap beer with some interesting Belgian options in bottles. We sample the standard burger, Grace's Angus Burger ($9). The burger patty was sized just right .. and the bun was grilled. Frites on the side were not the best - we'd recommend getting a side of something else (soup of the day, chili). Overall a great burger, we'd place this one in the top ten. Grace does feature a Guinness burger on a pretzel bun .. maybe next time. - wm, 08/06/2010
