hey i liked this place and thought is was a great neighborhood hangout until tonight when they made me stand outside in -10 degree weather due to 'fire hazards' while i could see full well that the bar was half empty. They were making a single women stand outside while all her friends were inside PLEEEAAASE what happened to the neighborhood pub???? if i want to wait in a line i'll go to crow bar. - anonymous, 01/31/2004
Louie's Pub is a diamond in the rough. If you're looking for a comfortable, cozy, neighborhood pub in Wicker Park, then this is it! Louie's is a family-owned pub, featuring karaoke 3 nights per week (Tues, Thurs, Sat) , a DJ on Fridays, and daily drink specials.
