Mickey's Grill & Pub is the one of the best hidden pubs in Chicago. There's nothing fancy or surface glitz about it. It's got one of the most laid back environments and the regulars are all characters--one of the best. Best of all it's a regular person's bar--no neon colored drinks served in bell shaped glasses or umbrella drinks. The crowd is mixed and everyone gets along real well. If you live in the Lakeview neighborhood and you just want a bar--nothing pretentious like Avenue Tavern or the other Mickey's on Clark: forget them--then head on over to Mickey's on Broadway for a shot and a beer with some of the best chicken wings around.
