This Boystown bar is considered a solid alternative to some of the neighboring pickup joints. Regulars enjoy taking in the game or playing pool. The North End is open Mon-Fri 3 pm-2 am, Sat 12 pm-3 am, Sun 12 pm-2 am. - Alotta, 07/07/2006
I've always liked the North End as boystown bars go. Nice crowd, fun atmosphere, and a great placet to watch the games.... BUT... don't wear a scary holloween costume here! I was asked to leave the bar the Sunday before Holloween (Tuesday) because I was too 'creepy'!!! (I was dressed as Jason from the 1st Holloween movie) - unruly1, 10/30/2006
i am writing this review in responce to the currently posted review by charles and decided that i needed to post a comment about this bar. North End bar is one of the best bars in lakeview. In terms of the men being being trolls, that is sadly mistaken, in fact it is one of the few bars where people actually talk with each other and nobody looks you up and down like you are a piece of meat. Unlike Roscoes, Hydrate, and many of the other bars on the strip, North End celebrates diversity witin the gay community, that being said, it can be a 'sports/drag/karokee/what ever it wants to be' bar because all gays are not the same. Being 22 years old i love North End because the men there dont treat me like their next lay, instead im the guy shooting pool with them the next game. - joey metler, 05/19/2005
