To All Loyal O'Neil's Fans/Needers: I am very sad to report that O'Neil's has died. Me went ther, the building is gone. It is being used as a parking lot until a new hotel is construted. I used to work here( for a short time)!Although the new owners have stepped up to the 21st century by adding computers as oppossed to a cash register(which needed fine tuning with a screwdriver now and then), it still maintains oodles of charm. A great haven for the businesperson to loosen the tie or top button on a blouse after a killer day of sales at a convention and sink into the city's best burger and patio! I miss Howard, but the place is about the same. Once my favorite bar in the world (and that encompasses a lot of bars...) it is a shade less appealing than it used to be. Still a neighborhood atmosphere, adequate food and good atmosphere. - dennis, 09/14/2004
