Could be the most depressing bar ive ever been in. No One in here- dusty glasses stacked on DOILIES!! a bar b/w tv in the corner..... Wow. - Rico, 01/23/2008

Rose's is one of the hidden treasures of Chicago! This neighborhood bar has a number of cool features: $1 Old Styles and Miller Lites, frosted mugs, a pool table that costs 50 cents per game, and an old 45 RPM jukebox that plays 11 songs for $1. But to me, the most special part of Rose's is the surprisingly friendly atmosphere that Rose and her son Kiro have created. When I go to bars, I usually spend my time talking to the people who I walked in the door with. But Rose's is one of those truly unique places where you find yourself new people every time you go. - E.Z., 08/12/2003

Rose's Bar is a phenomenal experience. From the moment you walk into this quaint Lincoln Park tavern you are



greeted by the warm welcoming smile of Rose, the bartender, owner and citizen grandmother. Hanging lites, antiques, a hodgepodge of eclectic art, a pool table and an old-fashioned juke box (12 plays for one dollar) become your best friends as you an enjoy a cold crisp Old Style on draught. This local option not only has a splendid beer garden for those balmy summer nights but they serve Guinness on tap and all types of mixed cocktails.
