I've never been to Stout on a Saturday night before but every time I pass by it the lines are ridiculous. So I've always wondered what the big deal is. I have been to Stout on Sundays before for brunch and I like the space it's not very crowded the food is decent but my curiosity for why it is so busy on weekend night only grew bigger because to me the space is not huge and I can't picture it as a hot spot. Finally one if my friend decided to have a birthday bash there Saturday night. I passed the long line and went it. Mystery solved. It is exactly how it is except it's dark. The music of very typical your top 40s. A lot of young River North crowd. I don't think it's anything special at all. Is just like any other typical bar. I think for those who waits in line for an hour just to get into this place it is such a waste of time. - prima, 05/06/2013
