Absolutely horrible service. We had two different waiters who were extremely rude to us. And only became more hostile when we told them it was unacceptable to speak to customers that way. The worse part is that the manager is the owner and she is oblivious to what professional service means. When we spoke to her she didn't appear to think it was that big a deal. She said, "well, there are two sides to everything." So much for the customer is always right. - Karen, 01/10/2009

We went to Swirl last Friday and loved it! The owners were there and so friendly, the service great, and the jazz band amzaing! We are going back this week we liked it so much. A great crowd of late 20's-30's. - sara, 01/19/2007

Swirl is a great addition to our River North community. I was there this week to meet some of my co-workers for an after work gathering and discovered this place through another friends recommendation. I was instantly a fan of Swirl Wine Bar right as we walked in. Everything from the atmosphere, the Service and the wine list was excellent. Our server help pick out some really great wine and also paired it with some of the menu items. When our food came out it was on a



3 tiered plate holder that was set in the center of our table. This added a nice touch and the food was very well prepared and presented. There was also a live jazz vocalist that was performing and the server told us that they feature live music 3 nights a week and there is no covercharge...I definitely be will be back as well as tell mey friends. - Julia, 11/08/2006
