Aircraft may include A10 Tank Killer, F15, F16, B1, and Stealth B2 bomber. Views can be had from almost any rooftop; we found planes tended to veer toward the southloop when in a holding pattern. The highlight of the show is the arrival of the Blue Angels.
For 2007 the City of Chicago welcomes U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds back this year. The U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds have been dazzling audiences since 1953 with their commanding presence and precision flying in their F-16 Fighting Falcons.
Taking place between Fullerton Ave. and Oak St. with North Avenue Beach as the focal point, this year's event will feature US Air force Thunderbirds and US Army Parachute Team Golden Knights. Water show begins at 9 am daily; air show is from 11 am-4 pm daily. - Alotta, 01/31/2006
