Don't miss this chance to celebrate Mozart's 250th birthday with your fellow organists and the voice of WFMT-FM 98.7, Carl Grapentine, in the splendid acoustics of St. Mary of Perpetual Help Church. The program will begin with live Mozart music presented by various musicians, including the "Alleluia" from Exsultate Jubilate sung by soprano Sabina L. Lilly. Then Grapentine will present an "aural biography" of Mozart including more than twenty recorded excerpts of Mozart's music. Grapentine also plans to share numerous Mozart anecdotes, several interesting uses of Mozart's music, and his "desert island" Mozart! To wrap up the celebration of Mozart's birthday, the parish of St. Mary is most generously providing a reception.
