Geja's Cafe will host a fabulous fondue dinner paired with the fine wines of Castello Banfi of Tuscany Italy on Monday, November 6 at 6:30 p.m. A representative of Castello Banfi vineyards will be present to provide commentary about the wineries and wines and to answer questions. This event is part of Geja's Caf's ongoing popular Winemaker Dinner series. Capturing honor after prestigious honor, the American-owned estate, located in the Tuscan region of Italy, has been declared "International Winery of the Year" an unprecedented four times at VinItaly's International Enological Concourse. The Castello Banfi Winemaker Dinner is $48.00 per person and includes tastings of four Castello Banfi Vineyard wines, Geja's Creamy Cheese Fondue, Luscious Beef Tenderloin, Jumbo Gulf Shrimp and Chicken Breast Fondue, and Flaming Chocolate Fondue (tax and gratuity are also included). The evening begins with a reception at 6:30 pm followed by dinner at 7:00 pm. For reservations, call 773-281-9101.
