Geja's Cafi will feature the diverse tastes of Spain from February 1-March 31when the fondue restaurant hosts its two month Spanish Wine Festival. Wine lovers will be offered an extensive selection of high quality wines from multiple regions of Spain, many of which will be available both by the glass and by the bottle at low promotional prices. The Spanish have had their challenges in the past as far as a wine producing country, but, the pace of improvement in Spain throughout the 1990s was clearly faster than any wine growing country in Europe. Theyve merged old-fashioned know-how with modern technology and the world is taking notice, states Jeff Lawler, Gejas Cafis General Manager. Some of the wines to be featured are: 2005 Anacoop Flare, Espumoso De Moscatel, Valencia; 2004 El Quintenal, Ribera Del Duero; 2003 Celler Cal Pla, Priorat. Geja's Cafe features over 20 different types of fondue entrees including cheese fondue and flaming chocolate dessert fondue. An enchanting wine cellar atmosphere, private booths, live guitar music, and subdued lighting contribute to its intimate surroundings. - Amy J, 02/04/2007
