We stopped by on a rainy Friday .. and were pleasantly surprised to find this decent Italian eatery on State St adjacent to Marina City. The bartender recommended the Menebrea Amber - an excellent choice.
The atmosphere is part basement boiler room and part Chic club with a vibe. The kitchen is OPEN .. you can literally walk around the perimeter of the cooking area. We sampled the Lasagna - a decent portion filled with pork and other meats - delicious! Expect to pay $50-70 for dinner for two including drinks. - wm, 09/15/2008
