Located in a gigantic lobby of a restored Rogers Park hotel, this Persian restaurant boasts a decor complete with a mural of the sky on the ceiling, French windows that afford plenty of natural lighting, and a huge plaster sculpture set in a fountain. Traditional Middle Eastern starters include freshly made hummus, dolmas, and portobello mushroom topped with melted mozzarella and tomato puree. Most entrees are served over basmati rice dotted with lima beans and dill, and include charred tenderloin cubes, chicken skewers, and charred shrimp. The salmon filet is juicy, and comes adorned with a singular combination of garlic, sun-dried tomatoes, black olives, and red peppers. Persian tea is available to complement your meal; BYOB. Nice fancy place with a reasonble price $10-$15 a plate for great food and nice place. Art and French Motif with Meditteran food. Good Fish and Meat dishes. Great dessert after wards and tea. Dont' forget that. - Ron S, 01/26/2004
