My husband and I stopped by Gilly's Place while we were home searching in Edgewater and Andersonville area. Food: We are eggitarians and here's what we ordered: a veggie wrap with a side of fries, an omelet, a waffle and a cappuccino. The veggie wrap was simply delicious and you have to believe me on this one because I have tasted veggie wraps offered by most of the casual American restaurants and this one was not just another of those. My husband was pretty happy with his choice of omelet stuffed with veggies. Now the cappuccino needs a special mention, I was a coffee addict and have tasted a lot of very good, good enough and bad coffees This one I have to say was among the very good one. The fries and waffles were pretty good too. Environment: It is spacious, really spacious, so you will never feel that your space is invaded. Very courteous and alert staff. Very contemporary and tasteful decor. They also have a nice big bar separated from the main dining area. Price: With two entrees, and two drinks, our bill came out to be about $ 15.00 not including the tip. We feel it's a steal. Its a very good choice for a casual intimate lunch or dinner and of course breakfast or even for just hanging out at the bar. I really like casual American and I will recommend it to anyone who does. I definitely plan to visit this again and again, I eat out a lot and this will be a good new regular spot for my husband and I. - Pooja, 04/20/2007
