Neighborhood hangout with one of the best beer gardens in the city. The suprisingly quiet outdoor annex features nine huge maple trees and two fountains. Menu items include the popular 1/2 lb Moodyburger ($6.25), sloppy joe, steak sandwich, fish sandwich, and chicken sandwich. On tap: Anchor Steam, Michelob, Berghoff Dark, and Becks. Pitchers are $8.50 and up.

We'd like to see Moody's upgrade the buns, as they seem to be using standard white sesame buns .. otherwise the burgers are top notch. Service is great, outdoor patio is fabulous. On tap: Becks, Berghoff Dark, Michelob. Beer prices: $3-4, burgers are $7-8. The salad offered on the menu is surprisingly good .. for only $6. - ace999, 09/03/2009
