The Nile is one of the best kept secrets in Chicago. The quality of the food and its preparation is higher than almost any other restaurant in the city. Plus, you get huge entrees for decent prices. My favorites include the mosakhan (chicken with onions, pine nuts, and sumac), kifta with tahini (ground lamb and beef with a sauce made out of sesame seeds), and the mashwiya (an appetizer made out of yogurt, zuchini, and garlic that you eat with pita bread).
