Just visited the House on Bellevue...Didn't enjoy waiting in line, BUT IT WAS WORTH IT! Good service, and great food. Herman and Mary made jokes at the door while we waited, and Jenny was our fantastic server. The food was great, and we've been craving it, and hoping to get back soon! One suggestion: Stay open in the evenings....people love breakfast for dinner!!! - Ronda, 08/21/2005
The Original Pancake Shop in Park Ridge has the worst service I have ever had at a breakfast. I have been there more than once and can never seem to get a cup of coffee that is hot, eggs that have been served long before the meat is served, pancakes that are served hot but are cold before the butter and syrup are served, and orange juice that comes at the end of the meal. The only thing that comes quickly is the check. Management does not seem to care and in fact seem to the main problem - the manager is rude, makes poor jokes while seating customers or becomes quite annoying when walking through the dining room on his way back to the host stand. - anonymous, 07/15/2005
