I visited Chicago over Easter and I heard Catherine playing at the Piano. That woman was the best entertainment in all Chicago. I found myself going there everynight to hear her. Her sound and talent was truly wonderful. Besides that, she was a wonderful person to talk to. Thank you Catherine for making our vacation the BEST. - Francine, 04/02/2002
As a veteran piano bar patron, I've checked many from coast to coast and border to border. Michael Laird at Palette's is one of the best: great manner, excellent voice, and excellent pacing and song selections. Also willing to accommodate my unknown singing voice. I visited Palette's last summer and still think about the experience. Very unassuming from the outside, but inside...it was without a doubt, the most beautiful and elegant restaurant I've seen.
