Entrees ($10-20) include pork chops with black cherries, meatloaf, whitefish, fried chicken 'n' waffles, and burgers. Sides ($4-5) include baked beans, mac and cheese, and creamed spinach. Desserts ($4-5) include fried apple pie, Krispy Creme bread pudding, and ice cream with brownie. Bells Oberon is on tap; nice wine list. Full service bar. Due to limited seating (about 25 total) reservations are strongly suggested. Dresson a Saturday evening was motly business casual on up. - wm, 09/13/2005
Overall we liked this restaurant and though it was similar to Saussy on Grand. One nit pick: We really could have used s steak knife for the pork chop.
Music was exceptional (Massive Attack, Smiths, Pink Floyd) ... except the shuffle player played a few songs twice, and the volume was a bit loud. - wm, 09/05/2005
Don't be afraid to try the fried chicken and waffles. I was a little grossed out by the idea of putting maple syrup on chicken but it is very tasty. The chicken is a little salty so the sweetness of the syrup balances quite nicely. The atmosphere was great. The waitstaff was very friendly and entertaining. 1845 W. North Pleasantly pleased at this new local restaurant. Relaxing environment. Friendly & funny staff. Excellent fish special, great meatloaf, tasty fried chicken and waffle and to die for Krispy Kreme bread pudding! One should definitely check it out! - N. Yaniz, 09/05/2005
