This sports bar has become a local favorite since its opening early last year. Wood accents, two fireplaces and a pool table pave the way to 42" plasma screens, good beer selection, and food specials. The Rail is open daily into the wee hours. - Alotta, 05/15/2006

Overall pretty damn good for a hole in the wall bar. Nothing special.. food better than most bars... The bar is nicely done (lots of plasmas for game watching)- lots of specials (daily I think) and great beer selection. Overall- I'll go back pleny.. - andy, 08/07/2006

Worse than 'nothing special.' I was curious to try this neighborhood bar given the early good reviews (clearly a marketing campaign). I was totally disappointed. Vibe was drab, room was physically cold, waitress couldn't be bothered to say hello or crack even a fake smile. I had read the food was better than typical bar chow, but the menu was basic. Very few vegetarian options. I ordered a chicken tostada with feta and cabbage (vs cheddar and lettuce) -- odd, I know, but I hoped the kitchen knew what they were doing. Well it IS a nasty combo, and it arrived without the beans mentioned in the menu. My date said his burger was 'OK.' The final insult: My margarita came in a 14 oz glass, mostly ice. Nothing special. But the price? $9! And this is a 'neighborhood' bar? - Jaime S, 04/19/2006
