John McNamara, My wife and I dined at your location last night to celebrate our ninth anniversary. It was my first time, my wife's second (she had been at the location in Atlanta). Melissa was our server and did a fine job. My wife and I go out every Tuesday night, but almost never go to a high-end retaurant like yours. With parking and tip we spent almost $100 and must tell you that we were disappointed. Generally we dine for about $30 but we decided to splurge due to the occasion. The steak was, indeed, excellent. The seating was a bit cramped. But the real disappointment came when at the end of the meal the server brought us an individual serving size container of whipped cream and two spoons explaining that Ruth's does



not give free deserts for special occasions. I had not asked for a free desert and the 'token' effort seemed apologetic and 'cheap.' The whole experience was a bit disappointing and I just wonder what you think might be improved going forward to justify a special trip and a cost three times that of our regular dinner?!? - Paul T, 06/12/2005
