This classic Chicago restaurant continues to impress locals and out-of-towners as well. Pictures of Mayor Daley and former President Clinton with owner Phil Stefani adorn the walls and give way to an amber-toned dining room and exposed kitchen. Blue checked tablecloths lend a homey feel to the elegant room. Start with complimentary bread served with roasted garlic, olive oil, and Parmesan cheese. Appetizers are big enough for two and include marinated and grilled octopus atop a bed of radiccio. Northern Italian dishes include satisfying pastas, such as ravioli stuffed with Parmesan and pears and topped with a puree of cashews, pine nuts, walnuts, sun-dried tomatoes, and mascarpone. An extensive wine list and knowledgeable, friendly service add to you experience. Desserts

This is without a doubt the best Italian Retaurant I have ever eaten in. The Veal Stuffe Ravioli is absolutely wonderful. I recommend it to anyone, esecially Italian lovers. - AJ, 07/18/2000
