This one-of-a-kind clothing and accessory boutique features a Tea and Chocolate Room in the back area. Teas are from Te Teas, and range from $10-$15 per pot. Most of the chocolates are made in-house, and include delicious chocolate turtles. Other light menu offerings include bakery items from Alpha Baking and Red Hen, omelettes, gourmet sandwiches with ingredients like fresh sliced mozzarella, tomato, fresh basil, yellow bell pepper, shaved carrot, and Asian pear. Afternoon tea is served Saturday and Sunday from 3 pm-5 pm, and includes tiered platters of finger foods. Open Tues-Fri 11:30 am-8 pm, Sat 11 am-8 pm, Sun 10 am-8 pm. - Alotta, 03/12/2004
What a wonderful place! There is really nothing like it in Chicago. I did most of my holiday shopping at Unique So Chique and everyone LOVED the gifts I bought from there. I have also eaten in the restaurant several times, mostly for weekend brunch--pepperoni pizza quiche and french toast are great! Their truffles are a regular standby for a perfect gift for office workers. I have found that the staff are very attentive and great at making suggestions for gifts when you don't quite know what to get someone. - Jeff W., 01/07/2006
