This museum offers a variety of changing exhibits by significant modern artists. A unique gift shop and a cafe are located in near the lobby area. The Museum of Contemporary Art is easily accessible by both car and public transportation. It is one block from many bus lines, four blocks from the subway, and close to the major highways that run through downtown Chicago. Hours: Tuesday through Saturday: 10 a.m. - 5 p.m.; Sunday and holidays: 12 noon - 5 p.m.; Monday: Closed. Note: Galleries may be closed between exhibitions. Please call ahead.
