This production of A Christmas Carol includes two shows dedicated to children and families on Wednesday, December 6 and Wednesday, December 20 at 7:30pm, with dinner offered at 5:30pm. On these two special evenings, Drury Lane Oakbrook Terrace will feature a family-friendly dinner menu including favorites such as "Humbug Hamburgers" and "Cratchit's Chicken Fingers" for kids. This all time favorite play with music is sure to please the whole family. A Christmas Carol tells the story of Ebenezer Scrooge, the miserly old man, who receives a Christmas Eve visit from the ghost of his partner, Jacob Marley, warning him to mend his selfish ways. During the night three spirits appear before Scrooge, showing him visions of Christmas Past, Christmas Present, and Christmas Future, finally revealing the possible results of his unloving, uncaring life.
