Since Willowbrook is one of only five grand ballrooms still committed to dancing remaining in the United States, what a wonderful place to celebrate and to ring in the New Year, said Birute. Two plans reflect this very special night of nights:
The Dining and Dancing Plan is the most popular. Cocktails at 7 p.m., dinner at 7:30 p.m. includes surf and turf with all the trimmings, a reserved table, wine with dinner, midnight champagne and favors. Dancing begins at 9 p.m. to the big band sounds of the one and only Teddy Lee, who is known as Mr. New Years Eve, and his 13 piece orchestra. The stroke of midnight brings champagne, party hats, horns and a magnificent balloon drop. The cost is $100 per person prior to Dec. 15th. After Dec. 15, tickets are $110.
The Dancing Only Plan begins at 8:30 p.m. and includes dancing, snacks, coffee and cookies, a balloon drop and party favors. The cost is $40 per person in advance; $50 at the door. - wm, 10/20/2007
