I have been going to Barnum & Bagel since the early 80's. The quantities are huge and the service is fast. - DC, 09/10/2006
The food is great; the service at the table was wonderful. But when paying the bill, the cashier was the rudest person I have ever encountered in a restaurant. First, she was on a personal telephone call and I waited with my wife; didn't say anything but just waited until she got off. Then she couldn't give us the correct change. Didn't say 'thank you' nothing. Just went on to next person in back of us. When I asked for a receipt, she had simply just thrown it away. B&B is a classic Jewish NY-style deli/restaurant, where the portions are subtantial and delicious and the staff and atmosphere are 'hamish. - george haber, 05/16/2002
