Heard about CB something or other Carl playing at Doug's Dugout on Saturday nights for Karaoke. The sign out front said he was 'Back' whatever that meant. Walked into the place and there were not too many people there. Sat to observe for awhile...at this time he had maybe two singers. I thought I'd go and check out his book of songs, he only has one book by song title and one by song artist. The book was maybe an inch thick, which meant he didn't have much of a selection. The sound coming out of his speakers was not good so I was a bit apprehensive. I did pick out a song though. I was called up to the microphone. He has no TV monitor so you can face the people in the bar. The TV is behind you so in order to read it you have to turn your backside to the 'crowd'. Sound was horrible, music was above the vocals so I had to scream to even hear myself and the microphone kept shorting out. This was extremely annoying. It seems like a nice clean bar and with the right Karaoke entertainer in there it could really be booming. Good luck and Happy Singing to you all!! - Fun Inspector, 01/23/2006
