Best pizza in Wheaton. Try their fresh cut french fries. On a nice day I love to sit outside at one ov their picnic tables and have a hotdog and fries. The hot dog special is a great deal, 2 hotdogs fries and a drink for $6. - Walter M, 02/06/2007
The pizza is delicious. Best in wheaton, maybe in the whole chicago area. Jack straw's does it all thin crust, double dough, pan, and chicago style. They carry all the chicago classics; vienna beef hot dogs, polish, italian beef or sausage. This place is ridiculous!! We have tried to place a lunch order for a dept. meeting (4 XL Pizzas) since 9:30 this morning and was told to wait 20 min. for the order taker to come in. Then we called again and were told to call back. Now it is 10:50 and the guy who answered the phone says he can't take the order. They must be doing very well financially because they have no problem turning down business. - Patty V, 07/18/2006
The food at Jack Straws is very good. However the prices make you feel like you should be at a ball game. $2.55 for a hotdog, seems a little high to me. The menu is very similar to a Portilos. There are Italian beefs, burgers, hot dogs, soups, salads, and of course pizza. The pizza is very good some of the best i have had. I recommend getting the rolled edge or double dough crust as it is quite good. The service is decent ,but not great. There is no indoor seating and only a few tables outside to eat on.
