Open since 1922 and reputed hangout of Al Capone and his friends, this Czech restaurant is this biggest of its type in the US. An Old World ambience paves the way for an extensive menu of traditional favorites such as the potato pancake dinner from the Bohemian Menu for $6.95, which comes with soup, salad bar, choice of two Bohemian sides, choice of dessert, and coffee. From the Continental Menu, choose from several wiener schnitzel preparations, beef stroganoff, and chicken dishes in the $9-$13 range; all are accompanied by choice of dinner salad or soup, choice of dessert, and coffee. Other menu items include broiled center cut pork chops, sirloin steak, and baked or BBQ ribs. A few seafood dishes are offered, and family-style dining is available. A take-home menu includes several gravies, soups, breads, and sauerkrauts.
