The Silver Stallion is a nice, good-sized, family-owned restaurant with a large American, Greek, and Italian-style menu, very good breakfasts (when you ask for the bacon to be crisp, it really is), nice fresh whole-meal salads,lots of good sandwiches, a couple of soups every day, and good dinner entrees. They're open for long hours, and there's an ample, free parking lot. There's one of those "see-your-dessert" displays, so if you want a gigantic piece of cake, you can have that, too. They have a kids' menu. Smoking and non-smoking rooms, and a separate banquet room that will seat a max of about 100. It's an institution in the town, and you'll see lots of local names there, and lots of local clubs eat there. It's moderately priced, and relaxed.
