Please tell me Slicker Sam's is not closed permanently. There is no better Southern Italian food in the suburbs, except in my dads kitchen! S.S. has the best gravy (sauce) the best house dressing and the best braciole around. If it does close I just hope it reopens in the Carol Stream area where I am from! The food is just as good now as when my friends and I would eat there at the Italian Feast many many years ago--when it was truely an Italian festival. Slicker Sam's is the best,bar none.
