If you have never had Bison, then this is the perfect place to try it out. Don't be afraid, it tastes like beef, only not as fatty. On my visits there I have had the Bison Meatloaf ($9.99). It comes with garlic mashed potatoes and a squash casserole. The Pot Roast ($13.99). This is all comfort food. Garlic mashed potatoes and country green beans acompany this super pot roast. The bison chili really hits the spot, especially whith those jalepino slices on top. ($2.99- cup, $3.99- bowl) There are over a dozen different styles of burgers available. You have a choice of bison or beef. Steaks are also available. Anything from filets to strip to delmonico. Your choice, bison or beef. The service was super. Prompt service and with a smile. I usually go to try restaurants when they are between meals. I get to enjoy my meal and I never feel rushed. The restaurant was founded by Ted Turner and George McKerrow, Jr. I understand that the bison comes from Ted's ranch. I highly recommend it. - Christopher S, 05/18/2006
