Detail for Puppet Parlor Theatre : Puppetry Marionette
In April of this year, at the height of the show season, the Puppet Parlor Theatre, then located at 1922 West Montrose Avenue, Chicago, suffered a substantial loss when fire swept through its store-front theater, leaving charred destruction in its wake. Co-owner, Ralph Kipniss, a third generation master manipulator, suffered further loss with the death of his business partner, Lewis Ennis, in May. Through the assistance of friends, and a local Masonic organization, the Puppet Parlor Theatre is proud to announce its grand reopening at the Des Plaines Masonic Center, located at 620 Lee Street in Des Planes IL. The scheduled opening date is November 04, 2005, with a performance of Pinocchio to be provided for audience members of all ages. - Puppet News, 10/31/2005
