Friendly staff, the building is falling down and the utilities don't work but that adds to the hole-in-the-wall atmosphere. Monthly beer specials featuring beers from a specific country. Catch the Simpsons here on week days from 5 to 6 (unless UPN messes with the schedule again. No talking during the Simpsons. Shutup and drink your beer. If this is THE Tap Room, then they've got the largest selection of beers in the state. What's weird is that they're just across the border from a VERY exclusive suburb (Grosse Pointe something) and when you walk outside, you can tell where the border is (street suddenly well-lit, in good repair, no bums). They sometimes have a live act here, but it's not a 'theme' place--just lots of import beers!!! - oydman, 07/04/2000
