The MMCR officially commenced in June when Morris, a former shelter cat, returned home to Hinsdale, IL. From there, Morris set out in his bus joined by two other satellite vans added this year to cover more ground to over 60 cities across the country. The MMCR campaign has also joined forces with the American Humane Association as the official sponsor of Adopt-A-Cat Month this June to generate awareness for pet adoption. With over 5.5 million cats euthanized a year, the MMCR will not only save some of those lives, but also will educate on responsible cat ownership. - wm, 07/11/2007
