Last weekend was my first time visiting the Detroit/Dearborn area. That Saturday my friend and I rode from Dearborn to Pontiac to Birmingham to Southfield trying to find something good to eat. Our first attempt was to eat at the Jambalaya festival in Pontiac. It was too cold to walk around since I forgot to bring a heavier jacket (I'm from NC where it is hot this time of year). We finally ended up at Beans and Cornbread. I was a little concern that there was no long wait, but I realized that the food is so good that you eat it up and move on, trying to find the nearest bed to get a nap.
