You can get flaming cheese anywhere, but if I were limited to only one Greektown restaurant, this would be the one. It is super friendly with tons of personality, especially in the evening when the owner is there...a very nice guy. The rich history of the establishment hangs on the walls for all to enjoy. My favorite dish, which I HIGHLY recommend is, in English, Stolen Lamb -- a generous cut of fall-off-the-bone-tender young lamb stewed for hours is a marvelous broth. Then top off the meal with a generous slice of the Pineapple Cake made by the secret recipe of the owner's wife...you can't get it anywhere else. - Steve Uptegraft, 04/18/2005
Our Girl Scout troop of 15 had dinner there on Friday. We all had great meals, and the staff is excellent. They are very friendly and accomodating. Prices are very reasonable. Great place! - Christine, 03/22/2005
